Entry 1 is called personal inventory on Blog. You will open an account on http://www.knovio.com/ and will create three PowerPoint slides using images; then you will record a 3 to 5 minute talking about your personal relationship with digital technology. How you encountered first with it and how this relationship has evolved in your personal life and professional activity. Once you have recorded the video on Knovio, you need to go to share it and select the option “Get Link and Embed Code”. With the embedding code, they can publish the video on your personal blog on a page called Personal Inventory. After posting your personal inventory on September 25, visit two classmates’ blogs and react to their posts. You must make the reaction posts before class on Sept. 27
It was nice to see your teaching process during your private school experience. Also your teaching practice is very wide and open to learn related to technology.
ResponderEliminarGood job Lucelly!
It is interesting to listen to your awareness on technology in your lessons and the acceptance stance you have towards it. Working in private institutions as you have, many times does not mean we teachers are getting acquainted with technological devices that help support our teaching practice. Sometimes we have to be humble and acknowledge that we do not know how to use certain things and that we have to cope with challenges especially in technology and that is what you have done. Now that you are entering a public rural sector is when you have to show most that despite limitations, we can guide our students towards a globalized and intercultural experience through technology even if it is little time a week
ResponderEliminarLucelly you've had a great evolution in your experience with technology. I like the way you recognize how important is for teachers to be aware about the use of different digital devices because most of today's students are digital natives, thus the use oftechnology in classes motivates them to do the activities. You have done a great job facing different challenges that your experience as a teacher has given you. Well done!
ResponderEliminarHi Lucelly, interesting to see that your process was a little different. I first had more contact with computers than cell phones. It is good that you have had a positive relationship and experience with digital technologies and that you have integrated them somewhat in your teaching. I hope the new context does not demotivate you to continue doing it, even if it is in a restricted way. I like what Kevin says that we need to guide our students toward a globalized and intercultural experience and technology facilitates it. Thank you.
